My LG monitor was working fine when connecting it to my Macbook Air M1 using an HDMI but one day it wasn't working anymore and was asked to install Dual Smart Solution. I couldn't find an installer for Mac specifically. How do we make this work then?

Unfortunately, Dual Smart Solution is not available for Macbook. You will need to find an alternative solution for connecting your LG monitor to your Macbook Air M1.
I have no picture...I clicked button on monitor ....small window says install of dual smart solution will enable this menu.. .cannot change screen status...please tell me how to get my screen visable again
I am trying to project my iPad on an LG monitor and I want the two screens to be different will this software help? If not any other advice suggestions?

The Dual Smart Solution isn't used to project things on other devices. It allows you to configure the monitor as a Clone or as an Extended screen.
However, there are some ways that you can use to project the screen on an LG monitor. The simplest solution would be Apple's official Lightning to HDMI adapter and the other is Reflector, an application especially developed for this operation.
The cable can be pretty expensive and the software as well, but free solutions either don't work properly or lack support to various things.
